Cold Lake and 4 Wing are home to some of the best pilots, flight crews and support staff anywhere in Canada. The Cold Lake Air Show draws crowds from far and near, and has been ranked as one of the Top 7 Must-See airshows in North America. Invited pilots, crew and their planes come from all over to participate.

Full Throttle Festival
While the main event takes place at 4 Wing Cold Lake on Saturday and Sunday, the kick-off starts on Friday in the City of Cold Lake with the Full Throttle Festival. We shut down 50th Avenue in downtown Cold Lake and fill it with family activities and games, a beer garden and live entertainment. Residents, visitors and pilots alike enjoy the relaxed party atmosphere before things heat up on the runways and in the skies above.
This year there will be activities for kids including :
- Bouncers
- Sparkle tattoos
- Balloon twisting
- Face painting
Don't for get the beer gardens with DJ music for the adults!
Trooper
